The Tapas Route «Guía de Isora Local Festivities 2026» is organised by the Economic Development and Trade Department of Guía de Isora Town Council, in collaboration with the municipality's Association of Employers and Retailers. From 9 to 22 September, participating venues serve a sample of Isoran cooking in tapa format.
The tapa
Each venue offers a single tapa, freely prepared. The rules define it as a small portion, equivalent to 25 % of a full portion, that can be eaten in two or three bites.
The price is the same everywhere: tapa + drink for €4.00, IGIC included. The drink can be a glass of wine, a beer, a soft drink or water. Venues undertake not to change that price during the event.
Tapas are served within each venue's normal opening hours. On each venue's page we also show the specific hours during which the tapa is available, which are sometimes shorter.
How to vote
- Register once. All we need is your first name, surname, email address and a Spanish contact phone number. Those details are how we reach you if you win.
- Try the tapa at the venue.
- Scan the QR code displayed next to the route's poster. It takes you straight to that tapa's page.
- Rate the tapa from one to five stars and, if you like, leave a comment.
You can use the whole web app without registering: browse the venues, the map and the ranking. Registration is only needed to vote and to enter the prize draw.
For your vote to count
The rules require you to register a minimum of three votes at three different venues. In other words, you must try at least three different tapas. With fewer than three, your vote is not valid and does not enter the draw.
Each venue can be voted only once per person.
The deadline for registering votes is 22 September, the last day of the route, at 23:59 Canary Islands time.
The prizes
40 × €20
For customers
Forty vouchers worth €20 each, redeemable for a breakfast, lunch or dinner at any participating venue. Valid until 22 October 2026. They are drawn among everyone who has cast a valid vote.
Tapa Patronal
For the venue
The venue whose tapa scores highest receives a commemorative award, a promotional video shared through the social media channels of the Economic Development and Trade Department and of «Visit Guía de Isora», and a place in a future tourism promotion for the municipality. All other participants receive a certificate.
